Your role as Visual Merchandiser

As a Visual Merchandiser at Lyko Mall of Scandinavia, you will be responsible for creating an inspiring, selling, and welcoming store environment. You combine your sense of color, form, and details with a clear focus on driving sales and creating customer experiences that make our visitors want to come back.

You will among other things:

• Plan, execute, and follow up on campaigns, seasonal changes, and inspiring displays based on our visual guidelines and planograms.
• Ensure that product displays are always selling, inspiring, and up to date.
• Actively contribute to sales work by meeting visitors, guiding them through the assortment, and inspiring.
• Train and coach colleagues in the store in visual merchandising, product displays, and how to create sales-driven environments.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the store, take care of the products, and ensure that each product has the best possible chance to be sold.

We believe you are a real doer, even though you have many colleagues to help you. At Lyko, we use modern technology to create an experience where the digital and physical merge – our signs and shelf edges are largely digital, which frees up more time for what is fun: creating inspiring sales environments, taking care of the products, and meeting visitors!

In addition to having primary responsibility for the visual aspects of the store, you will also have a lot of customer contact. This is not a classic sales role, but with 65,000 products in the assortment, it can sometimes be difficult to know which product to choose. That’s why we need you! With your knowledge and interest in beauty, you can guide the customer to the right product, or why not several. Together, we always strive to give our customers a world-class experience, where our store staff stands at the forefront. You could be the first (and perhaps only?) physical Lyko contact a customer has, and therefore it’s a big deal for us to deliver a WOW customer experience!

Start date: Immediate or by agreement
Employment type: Permanent position.
Scope: 25 hours/week.
Working hours: You will work varied hours during the store's opening hours.
Salary: Hourly wage according to the retail agreement.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a trained Visual Merchandiser with practical experience in the profession within retail and who wants to take their expertise to the next level. You are used to following campaign plans and visual guidelines and feel just as comfortable setting up a display as having a sales dialogue with a customer. You know, if a customer comes to you with a question, we don’t think you are the one who refers them to a “real salesperson,” because you are one too!

As a person, you are meticulous, have an eye for detail, and are great at planning and structuring. You are creative and see sales opportunities in everything you do, while also being social and thriving in the vibrant environment of a lively store. We believe you will have extra fun at work if you like beauty and our products.
